Steelworkers at MNA plants ratify new labor contract

United Steelworkers of America members at three Michelin North America Inc.tire factories in the United States have ratified a new labor contract.The agreement,which expires July 2006,covers some 3,400 workers at BFGoodrich Tire Manufacturing plants in Opelika and Tuscaloosa,Ala.,and Fort Wayne,Ind.Seventy percent of the union members at the plants voted in favor of the contract.
