HUNTSMAN ENTERS CHINA WITH $40M TECHNOLOGY CENTRE

Huntsman Corporation, a manufacturer and marketer of differentiated chemicals, has officially opened its new Asia Pacific Technology Center (ATC) in Shanghais Minhang Economic & Technological Development Zone. The $40m facility, which forms a technology and innovation campus together with an existing technology centre which opened in 2008, is made up of laboratories, machine halls and offices, and can accommodate 400 technical experts. Huntsman also has other facilities in The Woodlands in the US and Brussels in Belgium, as well as smaller regional centres.
