Light truck recalls hit industry

Cooper Tire&Rubber Co.is in the process of recalling some 48,000 light truck tires made at its Albany,Ga.,plant between December 2007 and February 2008(see"Cooper recalls 48,000 light truck tires,"April 2008 MTU)A number of companies have identified tires that are part of that recall:American Car Care Centers Inc.(1,018 size LT265/75R16 tires bearing the American Prospector A/T name,made between Dec.2,2007,and Feb.2,2008).
