This 6.4 million dollars project consists of a remodel of the historic 1928 classroom building and an addition of a new classroom building wing. The construction team made structural modifications, updated HVAC and plumbing, added fire protection and contemporary communications such as computer connects and video conferencing. The addition was designed and constructed to look as though the entire project had been completed contemporaneously. The exterior incorporated 8-ft 5-in.-tall wood double-hung windows, curved roof parapets and tile roofs. The interior includes wood doors and frames, wood chair rails and handrails as well as wood trim, again in keeping with the original building.
