Fun to abound: There will be lots to do and see at the 2012 Mid-South Forestry Equipment Show

Loggers, their families and their employees will head to Mississippi the first weekend in October (October 5-6) for the family-friendly Mid-South Forestry Equipment Show. They will link up with timber dealers, foresters, landowners and equipment personnel from all across the country, while enjoying the 8,300 acre John W. Stan-Memorial Forest off Highway 25 south of Starkville. More than 60 exhibitors are signed up, representing everything from half million dollar chippers to gaskets, from felling andpruning attachments to insurance services, from trucks to flail delimbers. Misty Booth, this year's Show Manager, is thrilled to have surpassed the 2010 show's total exhibitors. Since exhibitors are still signing up this number could, and very well should, rise even further. With so many exhibitors and the chance to earn CE credit, Booth expects a large turnout this year, since in 2010 the estimated number of attendees was 5,600.
