Mixed Use Center Starts Construction Montecito Companies Chairman Robert Schulman recently unveiled plans to develop Montecito Pavilion, a 75 million dollars mixed-use center situated on 30 acres at the northwest corner of Tropical Way and Lamb Boulevard in North Las Vegas. The development will be located near the new Lamb Boulevard and 1-15 interchange and will include 50,000 sq. ft. of retail space as well as a 12-acre mid-rise residential development. The project's preliminary plans, created by Vedelago Petsch Architects, include a grocery anchored shopping center consisting of seven retail buildings and eight stand alone pads. The plan's design also includes arches, awnings and lush landscaping. Montecito Pavilion is scheduled to break ground in the summer of 2006 with an expected completion date in the first quarter of 2007.
