Very rarely, I get an email or a phone call from someone who just wants to let me know they enjoyed an article I wrote, or who has a question or wants to discuss it. I like it when that happens—it's nice to know someone is reading and approves.But a print magazine by its nature isn't a very interactive medium. A few times in the past I have asked open questions on column pages hoping to drum up a response for future articles. I don't think it ever worked.
