Logger Herman (Hunky) Daniel, longtime industry activist and owner of Daniel and Son, Inc., and his wife Theresa (Terry), of Union Springs, Ala., have shared an interesting life and love story in a relationship spanning almost five decades. They weremarried when Hunky was but 15 and Terry only 17. Terry and Hunky had already been a steady couple for four years when they were married. They met at a child's birthday party for a mutual friend, a boy on whom Terry actually had a crush at the time. But instead of him, she started talking to then 11-year-old Hunky and they discovered a mutual affinity for horseback riding. The romance blossomed from there.
