Carolina Log'n Demo: 14th edition highlights North Carolina forest industry

North Carolina Forestry Assn. (NCFA) officials are confident in the success of the upcoming 14m biennial Carolina Log'n Demo and Forestry Show. The educational and fun-filled event will be held 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 22 in Candor, off Hwy. 211 on Samacand Road. General admission tickets cost 15 dollar. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free. The event not only consists of huge displays of equipment worth millions of dollars, but is also a celebration of North Carolina's forest products industry. At least 50 exhibitors, an increase over the 2005 event, have booked space and NCFA officials expect nearly 2,000 to attend.
