Pryet To Test Flank Gitano Field Well

Pruet Production Co., Jackson, Miss., has run production casing to test a well on western flank of Gitano Field in southeastern Mississippi's Jones County.The No. 1 Nicholson, Section 5-9N-13W, was drilled to 10,900 feet. Undisclosed shows were encountered and string of 5 1/2-inch casing was run to total depth for evaluation.Rapad Drilling & Well Service, Inc., Jackson, Miss., handled contract.
