The Essence of Information: Philosophical Notes

摘要

On the basis of phenomenological methodology, an essential definition of information is developed; information is an ambivalent phenomenon that expresses judgments in sign form. The relationships “information–knowledge” and “information–implications” are addressed. An explication of the concept “semantic information” is suggested.
