Pruet Begins Testing Smackover Wildcat In Monroe County

Pruet Production Co., Jackson, Miss., has begun evaluating a Smackover wildcat two miles east of Frisco City in southwestern Alabama's Monroe County. Initial perforations were reported at 12,614-620 feet at No. 1 Simpson 4-9, NE SE Section 4-5N-7E. Attempts to test proved unsuccessful and the zone was squeezed.
