Effect of organic and inorganic fertilizers on growth, yield and quality of chilli (Capsicum annuum L.)

Chilli (Capsicum annuum L.) is an important cash crop in Marathwada region of Maharashtra state and is grown for its pungent fruits. Many commercial organizations have brought out some readymade organic fertilizers often enriched with bio-inoculants and micronutrients in the market for substituting traditional organic manures. However, their superiority over traditional organic manures is yet to be established. Keeping these in view, an experiment was carried out to study the effect of these organicmanures with reduced doses of inorganic fertilizers on growth, yield and quality of chilli.
