Ca_3Rh_4In_(12) was prepared under multianvil high-pressure (10.5 GPa) high-temperature (1370 K) conditions from the precursor compound CaRhIn_2. The new indide was investigated by X-ray diffraction on powders and single crystals: Gd_3Ru_4Al_(12) type, P6_3/mmc, a = 944.5(3), c = 1042.7(4) pm, wR2 = 0.0343, 379 F~2 values and 26 variables. Ca_3Rh_4In_912) belongs to a family of hexagonal structures, i.e., ErZn_5, EuMg_(5.2), Gd_3Ru_4Al_(12), Sc_3Ni_(11)Si_4 and Sc_3Ni_(11)Ge_4 with very similar structures. So far, Ca_3
