New Records of Aenictophiles Including a New Genus and Species (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae)

A new genus, Aenictolixa is described from Sarawak, Malaysia, (type species A. exilis) which was captured with Aenictus gracilis.Jhe type species is also described as new. Fresh specimens of Weissflogia rhopalogaster associated with Aenictus fergusoni are recorded which permitted the first illustration of the female spermatheca. New records of Aenictobia fergusoni are recorded which permitted the description of the female for the first time. Trichotobia gracilis is recorded with Aenictus gracilis from Sarawak for the first time. A cladogram showing the placement of Aenictolixa among all the Aenictoteratini is presented.
