New Records of Allopreening Between Black Vultures (Coragyps atratus) (Ciconiiformes: Cathartididae) and Crested Caracara (Caracara plancus) (Falconiformes: Falconidae)

Seven interspecific allopreening events were observed. The timing of each event was highly variable (9.38 plus or minus 22.77 minutes). The behavior in all events had a similar pattern: Both species were very close to one another, they remained in these positions for a considerable amount of time, alternating between monitoring the area and cleaning feathers. The behavior was discussed.
