Revision of the Myrmecophilous Genus Ecitoglossa (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae)

The myrmecophilous genus Ecitoglossa is redescribed and the species are redescribed and revised. Ecitoglossa jacobsoni is described as new. It is the first species of the genus found in Mexico and the first associated with the army ant, Neivamyrmex impudens. The other species are all found in Costa Rica and/or Panama and are associated with N. pilosus. E. borgmeieri is synonymized with E. antennalis.
