摘要

Na_2Mg(PO_4)F and Sr_5(PO_4)_3F have been synthesized and crystallized from 70 percent monofluorophosphoric acid, H_O_2PO_3F. This procedure has provided a low temperature route to new materials in highly crystalline forms. Single crystal X-ray analysis reveals the presence of F~- to lead to the assembly of trimeric metal building blocks which direct the three-dimensional structure of the solid.
