Nestle Waters reaching the Western Cape

Nestle Waters has bolstered its product reach to the Western Cape by starting to process its five litre bottles in the region, at Chamonix, a bottled water company based in Franschhoek. NESTLE Waters started distributing Nestle Pure Life water in fivelitre bottles to the Western Cape in October, in response to increasing consumer demand. Delivery of five litre Pure Life water was temporarily halted to the region due to high transport costs from Gauteng. 'Ensuring that our products get to customers requires effective logistical organisation between our production sites and the thousands of points of sale throughout the country/ says Eugene van Antwerpen, business executive manager of Nestle Waters, SA. To better service the Western Cape, Nestle agreed co-packing rights from Chamonix, a Franschhoek-based bottled water company, to improve supply from the factory to consumers.
