Part of a seriously large food ingredients multinational, Kerry Bio-Science has kept a low media profile South Africa until now. But that doesn't mean it hasn't been busy. KERRY Bio-Science SA is the first Kerry Group company to be established on the African continent and was previously the food science divisionof Quest International. 'We started with a bio-science focus and now we're slowly introducing all the global subdivisions of Kerry,' says MD Greg Till. Segmented into specialised bakery, dairy and confectionery industries, Kerry offers enzymes, emulsifiers, functional systems, carrageenans, proteins, yeasts, fermented ingredients, brewing and beverage ingredients as now also pharma solutions.
