A chance remark that individually-coated yoghurt raisins and peanuts were going to be the next food trend launched Barry Todes' passion for cereal bars — one that is still going strong 22 years later. Although in the clothing business at the time, Todes recognised a good opportunity in the health bar snack market and started experimenting with yoghurt bars in his kitchen.
