THE man behind Platinum Produce, Danny Potticarry, a Cape Town-based entrepreneur with more than 30 years experience in fresh produce buying, has taken a bold initiative to propel affluent consumers into the world of online shopping, primarily for premium-quality fresh fruit and vegetables sourced from around the world and delivered to customers' doors. Besides thefruit and vegetables, home-made ice cream, salads, fresh juice and chilled meals that are ready to eat, heat or cook are on offer, with the latter prepared by a former five-star London chef.
