摘要

Entrepreneurial Wensleydale sheep breeder Julia Desch is on a mission, and if she achieves her goal it could herald the start of a new era of popularity for the unique wool produced by a host of rare British sheep breeds and invigorate interest in heritage skills such as spinning, knitting, weaving and dyeing. Already renowned for her passionate promotion of wool produced by her own flock of Wensleydale sheep at her farm in East Sussex, Julia Desch is now focusing her attention on a countryside renewal project that has earned £10,000 worth of lottery funding and which is committed to promoting a range of wool-based heritage skills.
