Lambing Live: Focus on the wool story

Lambing Live hit the TV screens in April bringing yet more focus to the sheep farming world and showing people the remarkable activity on a sheep farm as the lambing season gets underway. British Wool has been involved in this season's programme sincelast October when the director and producer approached the Wool Board to ask if we could tell them a little more about wool. They wanted to use the wool story as a filler in between the real action of lambing as they felt it would be interesting for people to know more. Certainly, it proved an eye-opener to them - the wool and textile industry is something that never really touches the sheep farm gate so although both Adam and Jamie had inside knowledge of virtually every other aspect of sheep farming, wool was a new world to them.
