New Borders Export Group: Debbie Play fair and Henry Lewis report on export initiatives

Farmers and others involved in breeding livestock were invited to signal their interest in exports for a new Borders export group at an event held at Kelso in July. The Export Workshop hosted by the British Livestock Genetics Consortium (BLG), NFU Scotland (NFUS) and Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) was the first of its kind in the UK and could lead to more, following its enthusiastic reception.
