On the 7th January 2011, the European Chemicals Agency opened public consultations on the harmonised classification and labelling of the following substances: 1. ammoniumpentadecafluorooctanoate (APFO) 2. perfluorooctanoic acid and its salts (PFOA) 3. p-tert-butylphenol The proposed classification for p-t-butylphenol based on Directive 67/548/EEC criteria is: Xi: R37/R38, R41, Reprotoxic category 3; R62.
