Testing lead paint: certain test methods to be used

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is amending the criteria and process for the accreditation of third party conformity assessment bodies for testing relating to the lead paint ban regulations. The action will ensure that CPSC and/or ASTM published test methods are referenced by the third party conformity assessment body in the scope of its accreditation (of related interest: SHE9897).
