Invercote turns a whiter shade of pale

Swedish supplier Iggesund has unveiled a new whiter version of its luxury paperboard Invercote. According to Iggesund, the new Invercote offers the best whiteness stability on the paperboard market, along with improved printing properties, mechanical properties and higher purity. The increased whiteness stability is the result of a new additive, developed by lggesund's in-house team, which delays the paperboard's ageing symptoms. "Invercote was good but now we're the best in this respect," says Philippe Letzelter, Iggesund's development manager. "For the customer this means that their packaging or printed materials have a longer lifespan. For example, an expensive carton will still be attractive even after sitting on the retail shelf for a while."
