High speed palletising helps Unilever save costs

Denmark's DAN-Palletiser has supplied Unilever with a fully automatic palletising solution, handling 500 canned deodorants per minute, per production line for its plant in Leeds, the largest of its kind in Europe. The production line feeds four different products to the two MK8/2 palletisers at a time and each machine palletises the products on two pallets keeping the products separate. The pallets are placed on a transfer car that moves into position underneath the loading plates. The full pallets are transported on the pallet conveyors through a stretch wrapper and are then ready for distribution.
