Global Cosmetics Regulations Can a cosmetic product be compliant worldwide?

There are often reports in the news regarding cosmetic ingredients and the adverse health effects they may cause. It is the role of the safety, assessor to determine any risks associated with a product, and to make sure that consumers are not exposed to unnecessary harm. Given that everybody is different, and as such some people may be more susceptible to certain, effects than others, it is difficult to formulate a product that is 100% safe for everyone. Nevertheless the intention should be to ensure that the product is as safe as possible for the majority of people.
