Personal care product companies are ugly recognising the environmental jrnpact of their products and are making witch to sustainable packaging. And corporations are now not only meeting consumer demands for more eco-friendly packaging, but exceeding them through innovative designs and processes, with an eye to reducing costs. "Sustainable packaging has a lot to do withsupply chain and trying to reduce wastewater and energy. To do that, companies have been looking at including lighter weight packaging and recycled materials, using less material in manufacturing, producing less waste in manufacturing and more," says Dr Beth Lange, Executive Vice President of Science and hief Scientist for the US-based Personal Care Products Council (PCPC).
