It is a fairly common experience to pick up a product from the shelf with 'organic' declared on the front, but an INCI list on the back with 'surprises' like petroleum-derived ingredients. How is that possible? The absence of a certification for the finished product itself might ring alarm bells. This is an example of greenwashing.
