Described are pigmented emulsion cosmetic compositions containing emulsifying silicone elastomers that provide a natural appearance to the skin with minimum agglomeration of the pigment upon application.The applicants claim stable emulsion compositions comprising a continuous phase of an emulsifying crosshnked siloxane elastomer in a solvent and a dispersed phase containing solid particles of pigment overcome problems of agglomeration and emulsion instability. Preferably the continuous phase consists of oil and oil-soluble ingredients and optimally represents 65%-75% by weight of the final composition.
