Edible Oil Imports Unlikely to Fall

Despite burgeoning edible oil stocks of around 750,000 tonne at major Indian ports,their imports are unlikely to decline in June and July,traders and analysts said Wednesday.This is due to the new trend of "unpriced" consignments coming to India,they said.Unpriced consignments are those which are not priced at the time of the dispatch,and priced on arrival.
