UNCTAD New Guidelines on Corporate Environmental Accounting,Adopted First by Ciba Specialty Chemicals

The united Nations Conference on Trade and Development announced on February 13,2004 the release of new guidelines on eco-efficiency indicators~1 that link the environmental performance of corporations to their financial performance.The guidelines have now been adopted by Ciba Specialty Chemicals,making it the first multinational company to base its environmental reporting~2 on the UNCTAD model.
