STEREOTYPING IN BEAUTY: WE'RE ALL GUILTY

Paralympic champion Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson was appointed Chancellor of Northumbria University in 2015. Earlier this summer, 1 attended my son's graduation ceremony at which the Baroness gave the opening speech. It was a remarkable speech in many ways, but what stood out for me was the simple fact that not once did Grey-Thompson mention her disability.
