Rexam proposes euro146m Airspray bid

Global packaging group Rexam Plastics is planning to make a 146m bid to acquire foam pump manufacturer Airspray.The offer is based on a price of 2.75 per share,which represents a premium of 17% relative to the closing price of 22.85per share on 21 February 2006.
