Siloxanes site on track

North America's Dow Corning Corp and Germany's Wacker Chemie have been given official approval from the Chinese government for their manufacturing joint venture company Dow Corning (Zhangjiagang) Co Ltd to build a siloxanes manufacturing facility in China. The new site will be in the Jiangsu Yangtze River Chemical Industrial Park, Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province. The joint venture company says it will "benefit the growth of the silicone industry in China by providing a stable and quality supply of silicone basic materials.
