While the challenge to preserve cosmetic formulations against a growing multitude of different microorganism has increased in the past years, the number of safe, approved and publicly accepted preserving systems in contrary has been declining constantly. Therefore, intelligent solutions based on the knowledge of synergy between single raw materials are needed more than ever.
