Research heralds new era for acne

New dermatological tests have found that a virus commonly found on the skin could kill the bacteria responsible for acne.Professor Holland,a microbiologist at the Leeds Skin Research Centre,hopes to use the virus,a bacteriophage,at higher concentration in a gel for the skin to provide effective treatment of acne.
