Shiseido wins Dolce & Gabbana licence after failed Coty deal

Shiseido is the new licence holder for Dolce & Gabbana's fragrance, make-up and skin care products. From 1 October the Japanese beauty giant will be responsible for developing, manufacturing and distributing Dolce & Gabbana's cosmetics lines. Dolce & Gabbana's fragrance licence was due to pass over to Coty as part of the P&G/Coty deal; however, the licensors did not provide their consent within the specified timeframe back in January.
