The 2016 edition of Cosmopack's 'Factory' trade fair series featured the on-site manufacturing of a limited edition facial cream serum, the Cosmopack Optimoist Perfectionist Serum. The process represented the entire supply chain and was certified by Certiquality to have complied with an ISO 22716 standard for "good manufacturing practice" and was made with reduced CO2 emissions. Indeed, a certified carbon footprint was calculated by Certiquality per 50g tube produced, which is "an absolute novelty for a beauty trade fair and a challenge to brands to calculate their CO2 footprints", said Simona Anontini, Head of Research and Development for Cosmopack.
