Soliance has developed an activi ingredient that can "reduce neur inflammation and enhance skin longevity", according to the company. Specialising in the manufacture of natural active ingredients from vegetable sources, micro-organisms and microalgae for the cosmetics industry, Soliance, acquired by Givaudan in 2014, has turned to the red microalgae Rhodosorus marinus to soothe skin sensitivity.
