Moisturisation is a noteworthy and growing trend in hair care-with global consumers looking beyond basic conditioning toward products that offer even higher performance, coupled with enhanced appearance. Among total launches worldwide for 2011, more than 50% of new hair care products carried a moisturisation claim. Of these 35% were shampoos, 27% conditioners and 27% hair treatments.
