Malvern Instruments says its Mastersizer 3000 laser diffraction particle size analyser provides R&D scientists with the high degree of flexibility and responsiveness needed to drive efficient, cost effective product and process development.The analyser measures particles from 10nm to 3,500μm and claims excellent submicron resolution. It can handle powders, emulsions, slurries and suspensions, switching between wet and dry analysis due to an auto-locking measurement cell and automatic system initialisation that ensure robust measurements after any system change.
