Italian brand Collistar has created a line of slimming treatments comprising Reshaping Body Slimming Treatment, Bust Firming Cream-Gel and Anticellulite Algae Mud. The slimming treatment isclaimed to make fat available for metabolisation and tones blood vessels, optimising the superficial blood circulation. This is achieved through a biostimulating principle with aescin and extracts of red grape and bilberry with vasoconstrictive and vasoprotective properties that acts on microcirculation, an effect Collistar calls 'pressotherapy'.The bust cream combines hyaluronic acid and beta-cyclodextrin to enclose the skin's surface, providing an invisible bra effect. Padina pavonica algae stimulates fibroblast activity, while extract of bioflavanoid-rich Kigelia africana is claimed to impart an intense dermo firming action.
