International Society of Explosives Engineers Conference

The 23rd Annual Conference of Ex-plosives and Blasting Technique 13th Annual Symposium on Explosives and Blasting Research is planned for Feh. 2 5, 1997. Sponsored by the International Society of Explosives Engineers the conference is the largest gathering of its kind involving field blasters, manufacturers of explosives related products educators and researchers. The conference provides a forum for the discussion of practical and technical information as well as presentation of the latest discoveries in the explosives industry the world over. Members and non-members are invited to submit ideas for papers to be presented at the conference. Presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Papers addressing all explosives and blasting related topics will be considered, however, papers on Drilling, Gold or Surface Metal, Vibration, Overbreak, Fume Generation, Environmental Impact of B lasting, Fragmentation, Tunneling, Automation in Blasting, Software in Blasting, Blasting Effect on Grinding & Crushing, and Electronic Detonators, are especially encouraged.
