Accuracy and precision of titrimetric determination of fluoride with thorium nitrate

The reliability of the titrimetric determination of fluorides with Th(NO_3)_4 as titrant was tested in two variants differring inindicators and buffers used.Accidentaland systematic errors inherentin both variants of the method were evaluated.The variant using methylthymol blue as indicator and glycine-perchloric acid-perchlorate buffer was found more reliable especially when the titran is volumetrically standardized.
