摘要

The application of liposomes,i.e.small,spherical vesicles which consist of am-phiphilic lipids,enclosing an aqueous core,started in cosmetics in 1986 by launching the very first liposome commercial product Capture?(Christian Dior),which proved thatall industrial problems of production could be solved.This lipo-somal anti-aging gel has been followed by many other liposome products,like liposome face creams,body care lotions,sunscreen products,self-tanning products and others.Liposomes have been found to improve the activity of products in various types of cosmetic functions,for instance skin regeneration,attenuation of intolerance,depigmenta-tion,pigmentation and slowing of hair loss(1).Liposomes have also been shown to improve the penetration,efficacy and stability of encapsulated substances(2).Due to their aforementioned beneficial effects and the ability to localize the drug at the site of action and reduce the percutaneous absorption(i.e.reduce serious side-effects and incompatibilities that may arise from undesirably high systemic absorption of drugs)liposomes are also thoroughly investigated for the use in dermato-pharmacotherapy(3).
