Recently, there is a strong trend in cos-metics industry towards natural prod-ucts working in a distinctly delicate way (i.e., so called green cosmetics). Safety, environmentally friendly and obtained from plants or renewable sources raw materials are preferred. In the case of eleansing cosmetics, more and more of- ten, in place of traditional Surfactants, such as sulfates of fatty alcohols (e.g., sodium lauryl sulfate: SLS) or sulfates of oxyethylated fatty alcohols (e.g., sodium lareth sulfate: SLES), mild Surfactants, such as sulfosuccinates, alkylpolygluco-sides or amino acid derivatives are used. The aim of this work was the elaboration of Shampoo formulations for weak or damaged hair with tendency to greasi- ness, on the basis of mild surface active agents, and the marigold and chamomile extracts obtained by extraction with supercritical CO2. This is a continuation of the ongoing study (1) of the effect of plant extracts, obtained by the supercritical CO2 extraction process, on prop-erties of hair Shampoos.
